All praises are due solely to Allaah Ta’ala, by whose grace and mercy all good deeds are completed. May Allaah Ta’ala’s special and choicest salawaat and salaam be upon our beloved master and teacher Nabi Muhammed SalAllaahu Alayhi Wasallam, whose life is the greatest example worthy of being followed and who conveyed to us the greatest message of Hidaayah– the Qur’aan.
Memorizing the Qur’aan is a great feat and achievement, which is only possible with the help and Tawfeeq of Allaah Ta’ala. The sheer number of Huffaadh in this Ummah is a clear proof of the miraculous nature of the Qur’aan and the truthfulness of Islam. To bear this great message, Allaah Ta’ala has chosen the hearts of His certain special friends who are referred to as Ahlul-Qur’aan and Ahlullaah. May Allah make us truly from amongst them!
This booklet was prepared on the occasion of the completion of Hifzul-Qur’aan by my son – Muhammad Yusuf – under the tutorship of Maulana Muhammad Ebrahim (May his blessings remain!) This booklet aims to briefly outline the importance of tilaawah of Qur’aan in the life of a Muslim, as well as some etiquettes relating to tilaawah, whereby we can attain maximum benefit from the noble Qur’aan. 

I wish to express my thanks and appreciation to: 
1.) My beloved parents who encouraged me to become hafiz of Qur’aan and allowed me to continue furthering my deeni studies.
2.) My asaatizah (teachers) who taught me with great dedication and sincerity (especially my aapa (Apa Ravat), Hafez Ebrahim Limalia, Qari Abdul Hamid (Potties) and Maulana Ismail Kathrada (May Allaah Ta’ala keep their shadow over us for a long time!))
